Make it TSS-style: Use scraps of lace or old embroidered doilies to decorate the cupcake's exterior.
Try: : Felting your old sweaters first. Sounds hard, but its super easy! Just throw them in the washing machine on a hot temperature.

Tidy as you go! Ever finish a project and then take inventory of your surroundings? It's like another project just to get tidied up! Here are some tips:
• Keep snips or a pair of scissors by your sewing machine and trim all your threads immediately after sewing each seam.
• After you have completed a particular section of your project, take a 5-minute break to clean up the area. The break will not only prevent sewer's fatigue, but it'll make your final clean-up far less daunting.

With all the kids and teen classes we've run in the past, we're starting to see a whole new crop of talented seamstresses developing. Their skills are evolving and we want to help them reach the next level. Coming this fall, look out for our advanced Kid and Teen classes. Designed with your child's needs in mind, we'll continue to build on what they learned in the Kids After School classes, Kids camps, or Junior Fashion Series classes and camps!
At TSS's head office, we're diving into sewing videos this fall. Keep an eye out for digital classes you can download. Coming soon!
