Happy 2009! Did you know this year marks our fifth anniversary? (Stay tuned for a big bash in September!) Our resolution for '09 is all about you. We're putting you first and we vow to give you only the best of the best. Have any suggestions or comments? We'd love to hear them!
Here's what's happening this month:
• Introductory Sewing classes start next week.
• Our Get Into Fashion School programs start on the 19th.
• Lots of kids classes start the last week of the month.
• Our ever-popular Alterations workshop runs for 3 hours on the 25th of Jan.

Make it TSS-style: Craft your own using hat boxes of varying shapes and sizes, thick paper, and decorative ribbon.
Try: Cut the sewing-tool shapes from felt and blanket stitch the edges in a contrast thread before hot-gluing them on for a truly crafty vibe.

While sewing or serging knits, keep your index finger behind the presser foot. Doing this will prevent the fabric from stretching.
