• Introduction: Fashion Runway Week
• Learn sewing basics
• Make a simple, fashion-forward project
• Guest speaker: Fashion Designer— How to conceptualize a design and modify a garment
• Homework: Gather inspirational tear sheets

Tuesday
• Learn fashion illustration techniques
• Create a fashion illustration of your garment
• Learn more sewing techniques and finishes
• Start creating your garment
• Homework: Decide on a name for your fashion label

Wednesday
• Work on your garment
• Finish your fashion illustration
• Guest speaker: Graphic Designer —How to design a logo and a hang tag
• Create a logo and hang tag

Thursday
• Work on your garment
• Finish your logo and hang tag
• Guest speaker: Stylist —How to put together an on-trend look with what you already own
• Homework:  Bring in accessories from home to complete your runway look

Friday
• Finish your garment
• Model and photograph your final look
• Assemble your Fashion Runway Week project board
• Guest speaker: Fashion Entrepreneur— How to get into fashion while you're still in school
• Present your project board to the other students
