How long have you been a designer? I’ve been sketching for as long as I remember. It used to be that I was always fixated on dresses, which is odd since I’ve now gone completely in the direction of separates with Luved Clothing.
Describe your style: It’s a mix and match of sorts. I couldn’t really give my look a name because I feel it can change from day to day. One thing I know for certain is that as I get older, I will not sacrifice comfort for style, and thankfully, with the growth of lifestyle clothing, I don’t have to look bad to feel good.
When did you learn to sew? I went to school at the International Academy of Design in Toronto and had a number of amazing teachers and mentors throughout my years there teach me. I also had a lot of trial and error in learning the basics on my own time.
What kind of success have you had so far? I’ve been so lucky to be designing a line and running a company that I love for the last eight years. I have such loyal customers and couldn’t ask for anything else.
