Happy November, everyone! Can’t you just feel the holiday air right around the corner? I love it! This month you’ll finally see the relaunch of LoveSewing magazine! We’ve been prepping and planning and designing and writing for probably about six months now. And boy (trust me), is it ever worth the wait! Also, we’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Rowenta. The fashion industry’s favourite pressers are now the ONLY irons and steamers we use at our Toronto studio. And, of course, we’ve got a discount for you. Through TSS, you can get a great deal on Rowenta products. We love saving you money! And the same holds true for Janome sewing machines - we can seriously hook you up! They’re incredible machines and so easy to use. Plus, they’re built in Japan so you know they’re reliable! (I’ve had my personal Janome for almost 15 years and have never had it serviced.)
What’s next? Get ready to pack your bags. We’ve got a wonderful adventure this spring that we know you’re going to die for!
And keep in touch. Share with us your sewing successes and tips. We love hearing from you!
Happy Sewing!

Don't use the ‘one-size-fits-all’ philosophy when selecting the temperature setting. Protect your fabrics and get the perfect press by setting your iron to the proper fabric selection. The temperature, steam and pressure will then automatically adjust. Progress from fabrics or garments needing the lowest temperature to those requiring the highest.

Fed up with elastic rolling and curling in the waistline of skirts and pants?
Create elastic casing; add edge stitch on fold with a straight stitch. After inserting elastic & sealing the casing closed; stretch elastic while stitching down the center of the elastic.
