ALL ABOUT ALTERATIONS Tired of paying someone else to fix your clothes? Maybe you love a vintage find but know that a better fit would make it perfect. For whatever reason you want to alter your clothes, we’ve got you covered. In this in-depth program, you’ll learn how to adjust garments, replace zippers, add or replace a lining, and shorten sleeves. Plus you’ll learn various hemming techniques. You’ll be making alterations like the pros in no time!
PROJECT: Alter a number of your own garments including skirts, pants, and dress tops
Cost: $350
Fabric and Supplies: To be provided by the student
Course duration: Two hours once a week for eight weeks
Prerequisite: Introductory Sewing
