We want to say thank you to our students. And we want to give you what you want: the time and the resources to be creative. So we’ve got FREE Studio Time (at our Toronto location) for everyone who has completed a course with us. Yay! That means more opportunities to get down with your inner designer and sewer.
Don’t have a machine at home? Need to use a serger? Here’s how it works. You creative folk come in for an hour or two (or many) on your lunch or your day off and get serious about all those neglected projects! Studio time is a chance for you to come in and use the sewing machines, sergers, pressing stations (hams, sleeve boards, pounding blocks) and the wonderful cutting tables (no more cutting on your living room floor!).
Please keep in mind you must have experience sewing on your own. (That means you can load a bobbin, thread a machine, and use the serger, if appropriate.) Studio Time is hosted by our marvelous intern, so no instructor is on-hand. (Make sure you know what you’re doing!)
Think you’ll need help? Not sure you can cut it (ha ha) on your own? We offer private lessons for focused learning and a Sewing PLUS class for the intermediate and advanced who need a bit of guidance.
Schedule: Sundays and Wednesdays from 2 – 6 p.m. at our Toronto location
Prerequisite: Completion of any program or workshop at The Sewing Studio.
Cost: Free! It’s our added bonus and thank-you to all former students. (Haven’t taken a class with us before? Try a Feature Workshop; it’s only $55—think of it as your lifetime Studio Time membership fee.)
